"Another good sci-fi book that lacks an ending" according to David Taylor. I liked this book, and I'll say more about that in a moment. First, I have to get a big negative out of the way. The book introduces a number of plot lines and gradually begins to weave them together in some promising ways, and then it just stops. No ending. No resolutions. No answers. Just a single line of foreshadowing and then nothing.This is a really lame way to tell a story. There is nothing wrong with setting up a series, and I actually go out of my way to favor series books because if I like the first book then I know I can go back and spend som. Sci-fi, thriller, mystical! Captivating slightly futuristic sci-fi with a possibly mystical element. Well written, reasonably developed characters, although I'm not a huge fan of Rudy, the new CEO of a mega-company, but I don't think I'm supposed to be! Monique is an interesting character, but I really wish I knew more about her. Perhaps in Book 2?Rudy inherits a part in a huge, supposed benevolent, conspiracy of the uber wealthy, making life and death decisions. Monique is on a mission to figure out what's going on with her strange visions during meditation. Their stories build . This Book Matters! Michael Dow's command of physics, corporate machinations, and the paranormal are for this reader a refreshing take on suspense fiction. He doesn't waste time with the usual graphic scenes of sex and violence, but just relies on good story-telling reflective of current issues. His characters are richly developed, although some might feel there are too many of them. They have stimulating conversations and convey a deep wisdom about the collapse of morality in politics, the stranglehold of the wealthy 1% on the rest of us, and the need to revamp human pri
