Good arrangements Kathy Parsons I am a piano teacher and have loved Tom Roed's advanced piano arrangements for many years for both myself and my more advanced students. Some of the titles in this book are the same as in some of Roed's other Christmas songbooks, but the arrangements are not the same. Some of these are quite a bit shorter and somewhat easier. I was looking forward to some new arrangements, but am a little disappointed in . "This isn't a "sit your family around the piano and enjoy festive songs once a year" type of book" according to Mitchell Brown. very strange arrangements. This person likes the low range of the piano a little too much. Harder to play than I expected. Doable but takes some concentration. I really enjoy the arrangements in this collection. This is a fairly challenging book for the mid-level pianist (like me) but very enjoyable. Song after song, they are all great arrangements.
