DESCRIPTION:
"Think Vigilante" according to Susan. Mike Recker, AKA John Smith, AKA The Silencer served his country in the CIA; he is skilled and talented and hiding from the CIA. He has joined up with a Professor David Jones and Recker believes he is now helping people. There are a few more characters in this story who are interesting. However, the portrayal of the CIA is not very complimentary, but, this is fiction! There is a short backstor. Hey, Mikey, he likes it! Yep. Blowback continues the excellent writing style of Mike and leaves the reader wanting more. Credible characters, situations and all. Will there be a Book 5? I sure hope so.. Very intertaining Marie Loved the character build-up, the suspense in the action and plot development. Lots of action . Enjoyed the thinming of the different characters .
It all boils down to a final confrontation between Recker and his former employers--one he may not survive.. Feeling the walls closing in, Jones wants to pack up and move to a new city, though Recker has reservations about leaving. After the circumstances of Agent 17's death, the CIA turns to a specialist to help track down the man they think is responsible--John Smith. Though Recker knows Centurion is coming, he doesn't change how he operates and winds up on police surveillance cameras
