Meh Not enough character development for me to want to read the second book in the series. A real lack of likable people - the hero is kind of a jerk, the victim of the crime is such a bitch you have a hard time feeling any sympathy for her if you don't like the characters in a story you really don't care what happens to them.. "Sorry To Say" according to Don Ekrem. Lost interest immediately. Too much of a Scarpetta junkie probable the reason. Wanted to love this series but will not move on to second one.. "Five Stars" according to Annis Brown. Love all the books by Patricia Cornwell, my favorite writer.
