So I knew, as a fan of the show's background designs specifically, that I needed to add Adventure Time: The Art of Ooo to my collection as soon as I heard of its release.I was not disappointed.In fact, The Art of Ooo has changed my expectations for art books. This book is special. It's the book I recommend to. P. J. Andrews said Everything you could ever want to know about the Land of Ooo. Awesome book. Everything you could hope for from the Adventure Time team and Pendleton Ward. Comprehensive on the creative process, other characters that Pendleton has created. Tons of artwork. Literally, nearly 5 pounds of art for your face. Even a quick glance through will provide you with tons of insight into characters and their origins, a deeper reading adds just that much more understanding to the Land of Ooo and all its awesome inhabitants. Definitely, strongly recommend.. "Physical damage, but great content." according to Amazon Customer. My book was damaged. The front of the cover was torn at the bottom. The packaging was intact. Lame. The book is great though. Pretty much everything you could want to know or see about Adventure Time is here. I especially liked all of the sketches and how it included the rejected drawings and the accepted ones. It's pretty fun to imagine Finn carrying one of the reject swords or all of Marcy's outfit concepts and hair styles that we never saw. Lots of fun.
