I bought this book to replace the paperback version and complete my set in this series. This is absolutely my favorite book series. I have read it many times. I have also read Brooks' Shanara series, but it is more complicated (in the order of Lord of the Rings) and therefore harder to follow and remember all the characters. Brooks is an excellent fantasy writer (even if it seems he borrows heavily from Tolkien!)This.
