OK, but Another thrilling novel by Tom Clancy, but after reading several of his novels, I realized that - while the ultimate evil deed was thwarted, the ultimate villains just kind of dry up and blow away. Disappointing. Maybe Mr. Clancy could put a little less effort into concocting distracting scientific jargon and more into resolution of the characters. We already know that the really good guys will be okay. But I. Read it! A Customer I have to wonder if some of the other customer reviewers read the same book I did. For example, Chase Cole from Melbourne, Fla, states that we never really learn how or why the shuttle explosion in Chapter 1 occurs. Yet both questions are answered quite explicitly in the story, and more than once at that. He nitpicks about a single engine Beech Bonanza being unable to transport a significant amount of illicit. I love the action Clancy is ClancyI just can't get enough of his books. I love the action, the technology, and the people, the warfighters extraordinaire and their significant others. I am so sorry to know that he is goneand so early an age!!! He will be missed by his many fansespecially me!!!
. The nonstop action in this story takes place in Florida, Brazil, and Kazakhstan. Simmons displays his vocal versatility in this reading; he moves at a steady pace and is especially good with the narrative portions.
