C.Hensley said Decent but leaves the readers wishing there had been more quality and content.. I was so excited when I found out there was another Thirds book being released until it arrived on my kindle last night. As much as I would like to rate this as 5 stars, like I did the other books in this series I can't in good conscious do that. From the first word I felt this book lacking the same quality the author put into the other books in the series. There were a few things I did find interesting. However, this should have been includ. Jennifer Harvey said Thick & Thin (AKA The Intermission). I received an ARC of this novel, in exchange for an honest review.I've loved the entire series so far, which, I am so sad to say, is the only reason this got a three star. This fluff really felt as though it was a prompted fanfic. Gratuitous in content. I adored this series for the plot, the world building, the character building. It has always been so heavy, and strong. I have been nothing but impressed. Until Smoke & Mirrors, and Thick & Th. was nowhere near as well written as usual and felt more like a chapter missing out of a novel than a Lyndsay Sealey I was excited to see where this was going but I think I'm done with the series. This went absolutely nowhere, was nowhere near as well written as usual and felt more like a chapter missing out of a novel than a standalone work. Unimpressive.

When the dust settles, nothing will ever be the same, and it's up to Dex to prove that in the face of change, the one thing that will always remain the same is family.. After the events of Smoke & Mirrors, Dex and Sloane find themselves in one of the most frightening situations of all: revealing the truth to their Destructive Delta family. It's been a lot to take in, and although Dex is still trying to wrap his head around everything that's happened, he knows he has to move forward. Sequel to Smoke & MirrorsThirds: Book Eight In a matter of days, Dex has been kidnapped, tortured, killed, revived, become half Therian, offered the chance to become a spy, and accepted a proposal to marry his jaguar Therian boyfriend, Sloane Brodie
