"A real western story.Zane Grey is one of the best of the chroniclers of the real cowboy, in my opinion" according to B. Newport. Keep in mind the author wrote this book at the turn of the 20th century just as the age of the cowboy was ending. The first-hand detail he relates is fascinating. I must say, though, that this particular edition has more typos than usualbut it doesn't detract from the storythe typos are fairly easy to figure out..
