Insights about life on a farm were kind of cool, but overall, Im not sure I would recommend this book to others.. Ho-hum according to keg. Disappointing, having lived this life also I found it dwelled on many of the negatives of homesteading without the humor. I was sad to see it missed the sheer beauty of it all.. F
