Truly brings the flavor of what a week at camp was like for the campers and also the coaches who participated at it. Many of my friends would have also worked that camp and so it brought back a lot of memories for me of them as coaches and how Coach Wooden impacted their lives through his life and teaching. I know a little bit about basketball and John Wooden, having grown up around sports, but like others wrote, it didn't even matter. This book is a MUST READ for anyone wanting to coach, teach, inspire, or learn about themselves. The author's stories are compelling and it felt as if I was right there at camp.
