Dawn of Pendraig said Not as interesting or exciting as usual but still a good adventure. A good Charlie Parker novel though not my favorite. The overarching story about who he is and how his daughters play into that is touched on but not in any clear way though we did get more of Sam here.We barely seemed to get time with Louis and Angel which left me disappointed. And the case was solving itself and as Parker's thoughts said dragged him along. Him always a step behind.But the author is consistent in publishing the next books so. Loved the latest ghost story! Corne I enjoyed it greatly to catch up with Charlie Parker and his infamous friends. Charlie fights the good fight on several fronts and the pace is good. Very enjoyable read! Do start the series from the beginning if you haven't read the other Charlie Parker novels
