Too many sharps and they keys were not listed beside the songs in the Table of Contents 99% of the songs are in sharps, very hard to play and I'm pretty good at site-reading music. I guess that is why I usually go to MusicNotes to download digital music since I can select an easier key to play in. I rarely comment negatively, but it would help future buyers if they were aware that while the arrangement is difficult which I prefer, they more sharps in the arrangement the more difficult it is to play. I should note that when I purchased the book I was looking for intermediate to advanced pieces. This one tends to be more on the advanced side, but still very playable for even the intermediate players. The main melody is to be sung and is not what you actually play. The music is to harmonize with the actual melody, so if you don't plan to sing along, then you may be d. "Not for piano solos." according to modestogirl. Nice arrangements, great variety of songs. This book is not a meant for piano solos, but rather for accompaniment (the songs' melody is rarely in the accompaniment). Also, it is not geared for the beginning pianistit's more of an intermediate skill level.
